"Tell Me" is a song by Melanie B, released as the second single from her debut solo album Hot on August 25, 2000. It peaked and debuted at #4. It sold 107,317 copies, the 158th best seller of 2000.It was co-written by Fred Jerkins III, LaShawn Daniels and Melanie Brown. The song is a sultry rant about her former husband, Jimmy Gulzar ("and all you loved was Mel B's money...").
The video for Tell Me was directed by Nigel Dick. The video starts with Melanie B putting a CD into a CD-player. As the music starts she walks down an alley and a crowd gathers and they all do a synchronized dance as the first chorus comes on. As the video progresses, it shows Melanie in many different settings. When the song starts to fade Melanie is seen sitting where the first dance took place staring off-camera.
